Established in 1990 through the initiative of the Local Government Unit led by Hon. Ernesto A. Reyes, Guihulngan National High School–Poblacion began with only three pioneering teachers and a vision of providing quality education to the youth of Guihulngan. Through the years, the school has grown steadily, achieving success in academics, athletics, science, and journalism while expanding its facilities and programs.
Today, GNHS–Poblacion stands as a testament to the dedication of its educators, learners, parents, community partners, and local leaders. Guided by a commitment to excellence and shared governance, the school continues to nurture responsible, competent, and future-ready learners.
